Connor's July update!

Hey there, Conner here!

its been a while since my last blog post and a lot of things have happened.

Obviously football is non stop here training 4 days per week and two games on the weekend.

But lately there have been a series of really important games for the Seiritz A team (U18's) and fortunately they have been doing very well and recently had a game against Teikyo High School in the semi final of the Tokyo championship, the winner of this game qualified for the "Mini World Cup" of Japanese high school football called the Interhigh championships. It was an intense game right from kickoff and it came down to a nail biting penalty shootout which Seiritz won!But the interesting thing about the game was that the whole soccer club was present to support the team and i think this shows something about the Japanese culture, in which everyone pulls together in a "all for one and one for all" mentality.

Cya Later!
