Seiritsu International Education

Hi, I'm Alex! I'm an exchange student at Seiritsu. I've been in Japan for a little over a month now.

I originally came to Japan because I wanted to improve my Japanese, and gain perspective by studying at a high school on the other side of the world. Everyone here, both the students and teachers, is so nice. I've made lots of friends so far, both inside and outside my class. Even though it is a bit tiring, I always have fun at school! Currently, I'm looking forward to the sports festival in June!

Hey I'm Zach! I am 18 years old and currently live in Japan as a student for Seiritsu Gakuen! I've been here about 3 weeks and it's been a blast!!

My hobbies are listening to music, playing a few different kinds of sports like soccer, volleyball, basketball, I also like reading, and writing poetry as well!! In the states I live in a small town with a population of around 10,000. Luckily it is in an area of big cities so I get a mix of nature and city which I love.

Coming from a small town needless to say I was nervous about Tokyo. I came to Japan because I had an interest in becoming more fluent in casually speaking the language!!

While I was in the states I also heard a bunch of stories from friends talking about how beautiful it was, and how incredibly diverse and significant Tokyo is!! I came to Tokyo with expectations of a heartless concrete jungle. I was wrong! Staying here for only 3 weeks has shown be how incredible of a city it truly is!!

I am really looking forward to my time at Seiritsu and I will talk more about this great school in my next blog.
