Hello from new student Zach!
Hey I'm Zach! I am 18 years old and currently live in Japan as a student for Seiritsu Gakuen! I've been here about 3 weeks and it's been a blast!!
My hobbies are listening to music, playing a few different kinds of sports like soccer, volleyball, basketball, I also like reading, and writing poetry as well!! In the states I live in a small town with a population of around 10,000. Luckily it is in an area of big cities so I get a mix of nature and city which I love.
Coming from a small town needless to say I was nervous about Tokyo. I came to Japan because I had an interest in becoming more fluent in casually speaking the language!!
While I was in the states I also heard a bunch of stories from friends talking about how beautiful it was, and how incredibly diverse and significant Tokyo is!! I came to Tokyo with expectations of a heartless concrete jungle. I was wrong! Staying here for only 3 weeks has shown be how incredible of a city it truly is!!
I am really looking forward to my time at Seiritsu and I will talk more about this great school in my next blog.
